The fischer universal plug UX is a plastic bushing made of high-quality nylon. The Universal plug expands in solid building materials and interlocks in hollow building materials and building panels for maximum retention. This makes fischer’s UX always the right choice – even when you don’t know what the construction material is. The tab prevents the plug from slipping into the hole during installation. In the flangeless version, the anchoring depths are greater, the fischer universal plug UX is suitable for snap-in installation. The fischer universal plug UX is recommended, for example, for fixing lamps, curtain bars, lightweight cabinets, and skirting boards. Fastening sets with screws, eyebolts and hooks are the best solution for virtually every application.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The tabbed UX is suitable for pre-positioned installation; the tabless UX is suitable for dock installation.
Turning the screw causes the UX to expand into the solid base material and lock into the cavity.
The required screw length is calculated from the plug length + fixing thickness + 1 x screw diameter.
Suitable for wood and chipboard screws as well as bar screws.
In the case of panel construction materials, the unthreaded part of the screw must not be longer than the plug and the UX with tab must be used.
The distance from the edge must be at least one plug length.
